Diminishing chances of research money from the EU

But the budget available is only six million. These figures are typical of current trends. Some calls issued by Horizon Europe in 2025 saw a success rate of less than one percent. Even national funding organisations are getting more and more applications. This means that much of the time and energy that is invested into drawing up proposals is in fact wasted.
